Potential Error Message Due to Google Chrome Updates

Google will begin releasing updates to the Google Chrome browser on July 14, 2020 (expected completion by September 1, 2020).
 
Impact:

  • The updates will affect Google Chrome across all major platforms (Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS).
  • If you use Google Chrome, you may encounter the following error message while using Single Sign-On to access UCPath applications.
Oops. There was an issue processing your login. Please try again. If you've tried logging in multiple times and continue to receive this message, please contact your location's desktop support provider. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Action:
Should you encounter this error message, take the following action:

  • Retry by manually typing the URL into the web browser or by clicking on the UCPath address in your browser history. (For example, type ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu in the address bar.)
  • Navigating again to the URL will allow access to the application after the failed attempt.

If the error message persists after taking the actions described above, please open UCPath online in another browser, such as Internet Explorer or Safari, and click on “Ask UCPath Center” to submit an inquiry.
