UCPath Postponement Also Puts Town Halls On Hold

This information was published prior to UCPath go-live at UC Davis. If you need assistance, please visit Who to Contact for Help.

Earlier this week, University of California president Janet Napolitano announced UCPath's launch at UC Davis would be postponed past the scheduled April 1st go-live date.

As a result, the all-employee town halls scheduled for the month of March on the Davis campus have also been postponed. New dates for the town halls will be determined after a new go-live date is announced. The final town hall at UC Davis Health is scheduled for March 15th from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Auditorium.

The postponement comes after a large number of employee records improperly converted after several test periods. That impeded the ability to adequately test downstream systems, including systems that involve patient care. Additionally, payroll accuracy testing revealed an unacceptable number of pay errors, even after several rounds of testing. Freeze dates for sites like At Your Service Online, PeopleSoft and Payroll/Personal System (PPS) will also be changing and those new dates will be communicated as soon as possible.
