UCPath is getting a new look!

Get ready for a fresh, modern UCPath experience.

Launching in July 2025, UCPath’s new look will feature an intuitive, user-friendly interface to help you quickly access your paycheck, benefits, leave balances and more.

While the look and feel are changing, the core functionality remains the same—your login, security settings, and all current features will stay intact. This update also sets the stage for faster, more efficient updates in the future, ensuring UCPath remains a reliable tool for UC employees.

  • When will this change happen?
  • UCPath will be updated with a new look and feel July 14, 2025 (subject to change).
  • Will UCPath have downtime?
  • Yes, planned downtime will occur noon Friday, July 11- 6 a.m. Monday , July 14. 
    In preparation for the UCPath July Release systemwide downtime, several self-service options and eForms will be unavailable. This downtime will ensure that UCPath processes all previously submitted eForms before the system becomes unavailable on Friday, July 11, 2025, at noon.

    Please ensure that you complete any necessary self-service transactions or updates before those dates. All eForms will be available again on July 14, 2025. For urgent matters during the scheduled eForm downtime, you and employees may contact UCPath for additional assistance.

  • What is changing?
  • This update is mostly an aesthetic change to modernize the user experience. Similar to the UC Davis website, the menu will move to the top of the page with expanding menu options, making it easier to find the information you need. All of the features available now will still be available after the update.

  • This change reduces customizations, improves functionality and prepares the system for more efficient updates in the future.
  • Will the process of logging in to UCPath change?  
  • No, your login and the UCPath URL will remain the same (ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu).
  • Will we still have security questions?
  • Yes, security questions will still be used to ensure your data is secure in UCPath. You do not need to set up security questions again.
