Coming July 2025: UCPath Gets a Fresh New Look
On July 14, 2025, the UCPath portal will be updated to a user-friendly interface designed to make it easier for employees to access the information they need.
What’s changing?
The update focuses primarily on visual enhancements and navigation improvements. Users can expect a more modern design with all the same core features of UCPath. Much like the UC Davis website, the new portal features a top navigation menu with expandable options—grouping similar resources together for a more intuitive layout.
Why update the UCPath portal?
An improved user experience is not the only benefit of this update. UCPath is paving the way for more efficient future updates by improving functionality and reducing customizations. It’s all part of an ongoing effort to ensure that UCPath remains a reliable and modern tool for employees.
What to expect
- No change to your login: You’ll still access UCPath at ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu with your existing credentials.
- Same security, no setup required: Security questions will continue to protect your data, and there’s no need to reset them.
- All features retained: Everything you access today—paychecks, benefit details, leave balances—will still be available after the update.
- New look and feel: While all the features remain, they will be organized in a new layout. Take the time to familiarize yourself with the new UCPath portal and register for a webinar to learn more.

- Main menu is located at the top of the page.
- Important messages display in the banner.
- My information, pay, benefits and leave balances display in tiles below the banner.
- Mobile optimization for tablets and phones.

Webinars will be available for transactors, managers and supervisors, and employees to learn more about the UCPath portal update.
- Transactors: June 17, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
- Managers and Supervisors: July 16, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
- All Employees: July 17: 10-11 a.m.
